  1. 1. Activities for today:  6th – 8th grade Concert in Graettinger 7:00, Coed Golf at Graettinger 4:00, Coed B & G District Track at Manson starting at 4:00

 

  1. 2. Congratulations to the G-T High School Band & Mr. Pedersen as they received a I rating at State Large Group Instrumental Contest.

 

  1. 3. Teachers please dismiss the high school boys and girls track students at 1:30 today.

 

  1. 4. B & G golfers be at the course today at 3:30 for your golf meet with North Union.

 

  1. 5. Varsity boys’ golf team, remember to get your assignments for Friday, May 11.  Turn your slips into Jane before you leave school today.  We will be leaving for Lake Park on Friday morning at 7:15.

 

  1. 6. Varsity girls’ golf team, remember to get your assignments for Friday, May 11.  Turn your slips into Jane before you leave school today.  We will be leaving for Newell on Monday morning at 7:15.

 

  1. 7. 7th & 8th period study hall please go to the lunchroom today.

 

  1. 8. Seniors in NHS will need to meet in Miss Johnston's room during lunch on Thursday.

 

  1. 9. The 6th period Study Hall will be in Mrs. Nelson's room on Friday.

 

  1. 10. Seniors, please attend Advisory in Mrs. Nelson's room on Monday. Bring your laptops!

 

  1. 11. If you were enrolled in a Spring 2012 ILCC college course, your college textbooks need to be returned to Mrs. Nelson by Friday at 3:05; otherwise, ILCC College Bookstore will send you a bill.

 

  1. 12. 6-8 grades spring concert Thursday May 10th at 7:00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory!

  1. 14. Booster Club has nine extra 2XL gray short sleeve softball shirts for sale, this years design.  If you are interested call Deb at the public library.  If you are interested call Deb at the public library.

 

  1. 15. Little League Parents:  Go to Facebook and "Like" G-T Little League.  The coaches are starting to post their practice schedules and we will use this as one form of communication with you and the community! Thanks!

 

  1. 16. NHS Induction Ceremony will be May 15 at 6:30 in the Graettinger lunch Room.

 

  1. 17. G/T Little League Players - RETURN DATE CHANGED... We would like all families to return their money for the Lulu's coupon books by this Fri. May 11th. Please take your money to the office.  If you have unsold books please return these as well.  Thank you for your support.

 

  1. 18. The baseball/softball clinic has been rescheduled for Monday, May 14 from 3:45 to 5:30 at the Little League Park.  The students can ride the shuttle from Terril and there will be coaches that will walk them down to the park.

 

  1. 19. Any softball player that ordered a Bag please bring your check/cash for $46 to Coach Hanson by Monday May, 13th....

 

  1. 20. Jeans for Hope Haven in Sibley-bring your old blue jeans to the Terril or Graettinger building.

 

  1. 21. Pop tabs- buckets are in the middle school rooms and the tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.

 

  1. 22. Non-Perishable food will go to the food pantries in Dickinson and Palo Alto counties with boxes placed throughout both buildings.

 

  1. 23. Graduation for the Graettinger-Terril seniors will be held Sunday, May 20 at the Graettinger School Gymnasium at 1:00 P.M.  They will hold Baccalaureate services at the Graettinger Bethel Lutheran Church will be held on Wednesday, May 16 starting at 7:00 P.M. with senior awards to following.

 

  1. 24. The board meeting in May will be May 14 in Graettinger instead of May 21 due to administration and office staff attending class/conference.

 

  1. 25. After reading an article in their Weekly Reader about people being hungry, 6th graders decided to do a service project of stocking the food pantries in Palo Alto and Dickinson counties.  The students are sponsoring a contest between the grades to see which one can bring the most non-perishable food for the pantries.  Boxes are placed throughout both buildings and students may place their donations in these boxes.  This contest will run from April 17th-May 16th with the grade donating the most food in each building receiving a special ice cream treat.

 

  1. 26. ILCC Fall Registration is open! Please see Mrs. Nelson ASAP to schedule for next year's college classes!!!

 

  1. 27. Buy a piece of history today!  The Graettinger-Terril Speech students would like to ask that you PLEASE support our group's fundraiser AND show your school spirit by purchasing a G-T KNIGHTS round magnet.  The cost is $6.00 and can be purchased from any team member. If you would like to see what they look like, they can be viewed on the school's home page. They look great on your car, in your locker, on your refrigerator, etc.  THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!.

 

  1. 28. There are extra 2011 Yearbooks available for $38 each (and some from years past as well!) If you have not received your 2011 yearbook they are available in the Art Room.  You can prepay for your 2012 yearbook, the cost is $40.00.
