Logan Flaharty(center, Bruce Tepfer CCE Art Teacher and Darci Farnum G-T MS/HS Teacher are pictured here as well) brought home "Best of Show" from the Cornbelt Conference Art Show on Monday April 8th. His over 7 foot tall piece entitled "Red" began as a sketch and evolved into a graphic design image, and then into what you see in this photo. Logan began this piece early in the school year using carved spray foam and a special "tissue modeling clay" that he found while researching sculpture online. It's truly incredible! We are very proud of you Logan!
There are many more Conference Art Show Awards to share and photos too, so check back often! If you would like to view the works of our very talented students, please plan to attend the Fine Arts Concert on Thursday May 2nd in the Graettinger gymnasium.
