"I am more comfortable getting to know and share ideas with new people without fear of judgement. This has even helped me in the classroom be more willing to put forth an answer that I am not sure is correct because, even if its not, I know it will help the learning process."
-Lauren Josephson (when asked how NoBo has changed her as a leaner)

7th graders have been working on how to properly debate different topics. Today's topic was Ho Ho's vs. Swiss Cake Rolls. Students collected evidence based on the five senses and participated in a debate. Swiss Cake Rolls was the clear winner!

The Drone Delivery team demonstrated their ability to pivot by presenting partner Barry Bonner with ground-based drone options. There are no clear FAA regulations regarding aerial drones yet, so this was the best option for delivering food and beverages at the Hillcrest.

Congratulations to Spencer Roth on his 100th career win!

Congratulations, Spencer Roth!!

What an amazing day! The Titanettes placed 2nd in Class 1 Hip Hop and 3rd in Small School Hoopla! Thank you for all of the support and love! #TITANNATION

8th grade ELA and art collaborated on a project for 8th grade's Holocaust unit. They read about a character in a concentration camp who passed time by creating art with ashes mixed in with snow. Thanks to Mother Nature, students created their own ashes and snow artwork today.

The 3D or Bust team pitched their ideas for printable items that would be in high demand to partner David Brink. They also got a tour that included a golf ball sorting robot (one of only three in the U.S.)! A great opportunity to learn about local entrepreneurship firsthand!

The Titanettes will be performing their two state routines at a pep rally at NOON on Tuesday in Graettinger. Come cheer them on at their send-off to State Competition!

After collecting hundreds of pounds of food for our local food banks last week, they realized this was a job not quite complete. GTRA FFA members decided to use some of their fruit sales profits to purchase Thanksgiving dinners for 12 families in the area. Each family received a turkey and 2 bags full of all the sides they will need to prepare and enjoy a wonderful meal with their families. We challenge you to keep your local food banks in mind this holiday season. What can you do to give back? The smallest gestures can make the greatest impacts.

Happy Thanksgiving to the G-T community from the School Counselors! Count your blessings!

The NHS coat drive was a success! Coats, hats, and gloves are available in all sizes in the Middle/High School office for students who need them. Students or parents may stop in and take needed items. Thank you to all donors!
