The Graettinger lunch program could use some middle or high school student volunteers from 11-12 p.m. each day. They would assist with carrying trays and grabbing milks for the little ones. They would earn one Purple Cord hour each day of work. Workers can start Tuesday!

For Mini May Term, high schoolers prepared an authentic restaurant experience for middle schoolers. They chose to dine at one of three different restaurants: Italian, Asian, and Mexican. Appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages were served. Rooms were decorated by theme.

Fun Fact: Our graduating Class of 2019 earned a total of 583 college credits by taking advantage of our many dual-enrollment options on campus here in Graettinger, Ruthven, online, and on the Iowa Lakes campus sites! Dual-enrolled students completed an average of 26.5 credits, edging out the previously set record of 23.46 by the Class of 2018. A few specific celebrations: Blake Miller and Isaac Eldridge nearly completed the HVAC and Farm Equipment / Diesel Tech programs and Arielle Roth joined Anna Sorenson as the second Titan to complete an Associates degree before receiving her diploma!

Students in Accounting working on their business simulation. They are given hundreds of business transactions and must record them, write checks, create memorandums and more. At the end of the project, they will have simulated a business's accounting cycle for an entire year.
